Arts of Oceania
It is with pleasure that I present at the time of my website launch this interesting group of Oceanic objects. All display a strong classical aesthetic and come with an early provenance. Most works of art are from a private Beverly Hills Collection known for its exceptional taste and primarily acquired through the Harry Franklin Gallery, circa 1965-80. Others are from other sources, including the famed van Lier Collection of the Netherlands and the Korrigane expedition. I invite you to enjoy this, the inaugural special exhibition, the first of many yet to come!
