With its large triangular nose, arms crossed over the knees and fluid legs, this figure is of the same archaic style  and early vintage as others in the Museum Nasional Jakarta. The inlaid eyes and mouth are original and consistent with examples in similar pieces in the collections of the Rotterdam and Leiden Museums, Netherlands.
